Established in 1988, recognized as a Jean Monnet European Centre of Excellence in 1998, and distinguished by the European Commission in 2007 as one of the centres of excellence in European education within the Jean Monnet network, The European Law Center aims to closely follow the developments in European Union law in its various aspects.

As a research department of the European College of Paris and hosting laboratory for the following Masters programmes:

  • European Union Law and Litigation
  • European Business and Competition Law
  • European Market and Regulatory Law
  • French and European Law
  • The Centre for European Law also welcomes doctoral students in European law who regularly gather for the "Cherche-Midi Meetings," as well as young researchers working on various topics of European law.
