On Wednesday 13 April 2022, Stéphane BRACONNIER was elected president of the new public experimental establishment (EPE) Paris-Panthéon-Assas University, created on 1 January 2022. A pioneer of this approach, Paris-Panthéon-Assas University is the first university in France to integrate four private schools, recognized as working in the public interest (EESPIG: Établissement d’Enseignement Supérieur Privé d’Intérêt Général or Private higher education institutions with a public interest).
Having inherited its traditions directly from the Paris Faculty of Law and Economics, Paris-Panthéon-Assas University is proud to maintain its prestigious heritage and guarantee the continuity of these highly symbolic premises, where French law was born.
One of the university's main objectives is to keep Law alive and make it evolve further in conjunction with Economics and Management, Political Sciences and Information and Communication Sciences.
The year 2022 was a pivotal point for the university as it became an experimental public institution on January 1.
On all its campuses, Paris-Panthéon-Assas University ensures the quality of its services and infrastructure to provide the best working and living conditions for the entire academic community.
